Free image converter

Change the format a portal or app is asking for: JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF or PDF, plus iPhone HEIC photos and DPI. Convert single files or whole batches, right in your browser.

Guide

Which format should you convert to?

Pick the format by where the image is going. Forms, email and print shops almost always want JPG, which keeps photos small; PNG to JPG and JPEG to JPG cover the two most common cases, and iPhone photos go through HEIC to JPG. Logos, screenshots and anything with a transparent background belong in PNG. Websites load fastest with WebP, and simple graphics with few colors can go to GIF. Documents that must arrive as one file go into a PDF, and when a form sets a limit, a page such as JPG to PDF under 200 KB keeps the whole file under it. If a form asks for 200 or 300 DPI, the DPI converter sets it.

Converting never adds quality that was lost before, so convert from the best original you have. Every converter here works on batches, keeps the width and height, and runs in your browser.
