How to
How to increase Image Size to 50 KB
- 1.
Add your photo. Drop it, paste it or pick it from your files.
- 2.
Keep the 50 KB target. It is already set. The result is just above 50 KB, so a minimum of 50 KB is always met.
- 3.
Download. Upload the JPG to your form.
Why this size
When a form needs at least 50 KB
A 50 KB minimum is common for handwritten declarations and some document photos: IBPS and SBI, for example, ask for the declaration between 50 and 100 KB. A phone photo sent through a messaging app often arrives at 20 or 30 KB, under that line.
The tool raises the file to just above 50 KB, so it sits inside a 50 to 100 KB range with room to spare.
| Upload | Allowed size |
|---|---|
| IBPS and SBI photo | 20 to 50 KB |
| IBPS and SBI declaration | 50 to 100 KB |
| RRB signature | 30 to 49 KB |
| UPSC photo | 20 to 300 KB |
| NEET UG photo | 10 to 200 KB |
| SSC signature | 10 to 20 KB |

Common problems and fixes
- The form still says the file is too smallSome portals count 1 KB as 1024 bytes and others as 1000. The tool lands a little above 50 KB, which passes both.
- The file is now over the form's maximumIt stops just above 50 KB. If the maximum is lower, the form's range is narrow: type a target between the two numbers with the custom size tool.
FAQ
Increase to 50KB: questions
- How do I increase a photo to 50 KB?
- Add it here and download. The target is already set to 50 KB, and the result lands just above it.
- Can I increase from 20 KB to 50 KB?
- Yes. The tool saves the photo at a higher quality and, if needed, adds empty padding until it passes 50 KB. Width and height stay the same.
- My form allows 20 to 50 KB. Is this the right page?
- Only if your file is under 20 KB. Then increase it to about 25 or 30 KB instead, using the custom size tool, so you stay well inside the range.
- Does the width or height change?
- No. Only the file size changes.
- Is my photo uploaded?
- No. It is processed in your browser.

How we checked this page
Checked by the SizePort team on .
We test the tool with sample photos before it goes live and check that the sizes on this page match what it produces. Rules and platforms change, so if something here is out of date, tell us and we will correct it.
How the tool works
The tool saves the photo again at a higher JPG quality, which makes the file larger without changing its pixels. If that is not enough, it adds an empty comment block inside the JPG until the size is reached. The picture, its width and its height stay the same. Everything happens in your browser; your images are never uploaded.
